The Beach
Calamansi Cove Villas is on an unspoilt bay on a six-kilometer white sand beach. The fishing village of Balapitiya is located approximately 2 hours from Colombo and the bordering beach remains untouched by tourism, making it the ideal getaway from families and couples looking for complete seclusion and peace. The golden coast is also known to offer a safe haven for nesting sea turtles, from Olive Ridley to Green Turtles. The nearby Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery is a rescue and rehabilitation centre for these endangered species.
